Emission Repair for Charlestown Automobiles

Most vehicles fail inspections because of emission problems. But don't worry as we are also a State registered emissions repair shop. We can quickly service any emission issues and get your vehicle back on the road with an inspection sticker.
We are a certified Massachusetts emissions repair shop. Not all inspection stations are state certified so if your vehicle fails inspection due to faulty emissions our shop is qualified to repair your vehicle.
Not all Mass Inspection Stations are Registered Emissions repair shop shops. Massachusetts Registered Emissions repair shops must have a Registered Emissions Repair Technician with the following training or certification:
* ASE certifications are obtained by passing advanced level tests given by the National Institute for Auto Service Excellence (ASE). These tests measure a technician’s knowledge of the skills needed to diagnose problems with computer-controlled engine systems. These skills are extensions of the basic repair and diagnostic skills that are tested on the Automobile Engine Performance (A-8) test.

- Register with Parsons
- For Gasoline vehicle repairers, have a current National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) L-1 certification
- For Diesel vehicle repairers, have a current ASE* L-2 certification or both L-1 and A9 certifications
- Successfully complete the Mass Module training and pass the proficiency exam
- Attend the OBD Diagnostics and Repair Training course and pass the proficiency exam
